Even after reading the positive reviews here, I was happily surprised by how nice Kittery Inn & Suites was! I was there for only 1 night, but will gladly return. It was clear that the owners and staff take pride in their hotel, and value their guests. When I checked in, the woman at the desk was patiently helping an older gentleman connect his kindle to the wifi. On her recommendation I had dinner at a nearby ( 2 minutes away) Indian restaurant that was amazing (Tulsi). My room was immaculate, but did not have any chlorine/sanitizer smell that I find in many hotels now. The bed was comfortable, with lovely linens and lots of pillows. There was a large selection of TV channels. The breakfast was small, but had nice touches like real maple syrup. The staff was very attentive and refilled things immediately. The location is terrific - an 8 minute trip over the bridge to downtown Portsmouth and of course all of Kittery is right there.
