I’m so happy I found this little gem for a girls trip with my mom and my niece. The price was more than affordable, the breakfast that was included in the price was unbelievable and the service was outstanding. The location was also perfect. It was minutes away from Kittery and Portsmouth, both fun places to spend time shopping and enjoying local restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to all my friends and family.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

The only thing that I would say wasn’t a 10 was when I tried to put on the fan at night in either of the rooms it made such a loud noise I couldn’t use it. I use a fan each night to help drown out noise because I have a hard time sleeping I think I would have slept better if I was able to use the fan. I would check into the fans in the #9 cabin. The loud noise doesn’t come on right away you need to give it a second and then it kicks in and it’s very loud.

MACHINE TRANSLATED:

We stayed only one night at this motel. It is in a great location with respect to the Kittery outlet, which is just a short distance away.

The rooms are nice, bright and modern but a bit noisy. In addition, ours was pervaded with a smell of moisture.

One thing that should be improved, according to our brief experience, is the breakfast that is fairly basic, not very rich and with limited seating. We were 3 and my husband had to have breakfast on his feet.

Pool area and well-kept outdoor patio, give value to the structure making it much more welcoming, despite being really close to the main road.

The price / quality ratio, considering the price paid in August of € 140 per night, could be increased.

This was our first time here and even though the pictures we saw online looked great, it was even better in person surprisingly. Loved that it was super clean! Simple yet accommodating and the decor was beautiful. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. We will definitely be returning here.

This is an old 1950’s Motel, turned modern day. The rooms and bathrooms are on the small side, but, they are very cozy & clean. The rooms are equipped with tiny fridge/freezer & microwave. They do offer a few larger rooms and one or two rooms with full kitchens. The complimentary breakfast, is unbelievably amazing! They serve yummy & healthy breakfast food thats fresh & healthy. The grounds are nice with a sitting area, pool and pond. We enjoyed our stay.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

All the staff members we interacted with were excellent, very friendly and informative. The breakfast was very good. Loved the Maine Potato Hash.

We stayed in Room 6 and were told we had a separate bedroom and living room, which was great news.

However, the first impression after check in started off very negatively. As we went up the stairs to our room there was an old plastic container on the stoop filled with wet cigarette butts. Really? That’s the 1st impression for a guest arriving at their room? It was disgusting! You should only have smoking receptacles like that in a common area or at least available for guests that do smoke. The next impression once inside the room was a very strong odor of something like a cleaning product/chemical. The odor was so bad we had to open the front door and all windows for at least an hour to make it so the smell was at least tolerable for us. Not sure if the smell was in the carpet. Maybe another type of flooring would help with odors. The odor lingered throughout our entire stay. The room was spacious, which was nice. The couch wasn’t very comfortable and could use a good cleaning, and the pillows on the couch were worn and gross. The mattress that you refer to as being a nicer mattress on your website, was so worn out, it sagged and wasn’t comfortable. I found some food on the floor by the fridge and the oven was very dirty too. The toilet seat also wasn’t hinged properly and shifted every time it was used. There were a lot of things throughout the room that needed some attention wear & tear (doorways, bathroom, etc.) I appreciate that it is an older converted motel, but more attention to these things needs to be done to expect repeat/return guests, as well as referrals. Was hoping for an overall better experience, but left disappointed.
