We had cottage 22 which had a queen bed, bathroom and small table with 2 chairs. The bed was against the wall on 1 side so the person on the wall side would have a difficult time getting in and out. Room was clean. Bed was too soft and sagged in the middle.

Cabin 21 had a very private entrance if sitting outside. The morning free breakfast was great but only room for 3 couples to sit at a time. Might have to carry food to your cabin to eat.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

Hello, this is (I believe) the fourth time staying at Kittery Inns & Suites. This time I booked a “cabin” thinking the room would be roomy and a little different then the rooms we stayed in the past. Well the bathroom is just as small and I would strongly advise putting non slip treads in the bathtub. Tub is slippery, my fiancé actually slide but didn’t fall. The other HUGE downside was the bed up against the wall, very inconvenient and a nuisance to get in and out of. Also please put a darker room curtain over the blinds, those small blinds are very private even when closed and lights are on in the room and in the morning there is lots of light that comes in. I will stay again probably next year but just not in a cabin.

I loved my stay here……staff friendly and a great breakfast every morning. and oh so quiet even though the inn was full when i stayed. i highly recommend this property! this was my first trip to Maine so staying at the Inn enhanced the trip.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

We absolutely love staying here, and have stayed now twice in the last month, and we’ll be sure to return. That being said….

Our first stay was in the lovely cabin #9. I was impressed with the cleanliness, updated decor, and overall comfort of the room. This past weekend we stayed in #20. Space was not a concern, but the space that was there was not very usable. It was a VERY cold weekend and we could see daylight through the door. It wasn’t a huge issue because we really only used the space for sleeping anyway, but it seems this would be an easy enough repair with a piece of weather stripping - It’s very inefficient.

The bonus with this room (#20) was that there is actually more counter space than in #9. To maximize this it would be amazing to have one cup Keurig’s available as part of the kitchenette. Especially on a FREEZING morning it would be much more relaxing to have a cup (or two) available in the room, and would also minimize the traffic through the breakfast nook. We are huge fans of the FREE breakfast, and we’d love to see that expanded to accommodate the others that do as well.

Your staff is fabulous, and we feel the cost comparison for your accommodations to others in the area is hands down a great deal.

You have an excellent service!

Please read my previous reviews for more details. Kittery Inn and Suites is still well-maintained and staffed. It’s a perfect stopover in the area, one that my husband and I will return to again and again on our way to and from our home further up the coast. Best bedding and linens you will ever find in budget lodging on this side of the Atlantic.
